Civil Construction and Site Work Built Around Operations That Cannot Stop.

Grading, drainage, access roads, pads and demolition, scheduled around your trains, your trucks and your shifts. From grading and drainage to concrete and structural work, our crews handle the civil scope so rail, industrial and municipal projects move on schedule.

How we work

Most civil contractors want an empty site. Ours is usually a working one.

The civil work we do happens next to live track, inside operating plants and across facilities that cannot shut down while we are there. That changes the job. Production windows matter as much as production rates. Access has to be planned around traffic that has priority over us. Protection and flagging are part of the schedule, not an afterthought. A contractor who only builds on open ground learns this the expensive way, usually on your project.

Because we also self perform rail work, we understand what it costs you when we are in the way, and we plan the sequence so that we are not.

Scope

What we self perform

01

Grading and Excavation

Cut, fill, subgrade preparation and compaction for track, pads, roads and building sites, including work in tight corridors alongside existing infrastructure.

02

Access Roads, Haul Roads and Crossings

Roads built to carry the equipment that actually has to use them, plus grade crossings, approaches and crossing surfaces designed to survive loaded traffic rather than look good on the day of handover.

03

Drainage, Culverts and Erosion Control

Ditching, culvert installation, storm water management, matting and stabilization. Drainage is where most track and pavement failures start, so it gets engineered attention rather than whatever is left in the budget.

04

Concrete Pads, Foundations and Containment

Equipment pads, transload pads, foundations and secondary containment structures.

05

Demolition and Site Clearing

Structure demolition, removals, clearing and grubbing, with debris hauled off on our own trucks.

06

Post Incident Restoration

Rebuilding grade, drainage and surfacing after a derailment, washout or release, frequently on the same contract as the response itself.

Process

How a civil project runs with us

It starts with a site walk, not an estimate over the phone. We look at access, existing drainage, utilities, what is actually in the ground and what your operations will and will not allow. You get a written scope and a schedule that shows the production windows we intend to work in, so nobody is surprised by a crew arriving during a shift change or a switching move.

While we are on site you get a daily photo log and progress notes, which means you know what got done without driving out to look. At the end you get a punch walk, closeout and any documentation your file requires. None of that is exotic. It is simply what most site work is missing.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Yes, and on many jobs that is the only sensible way to run the schedule. Say so early and it goes into the plan and the price.

No. Our equipment, our operators.

Yes. Grade, drainage and track on one schedule with one point of contact is the normal way we work.

Send us the location and the scope.

We will walk it this week and come back with a written plan.
