New Track, Sidings and Industrial Spurs, Built to Standard and to Date.
From the first stake to the first car, for shippers and plants that need rail in the ground on a date certain. From new track construction to turnouts and crossings, our crews build to railroad specification with the documentation your engineering department expects.
Start a Track Project
Why one contractor
Rail projects slip at the seam between civil and track
When the dirt work belongs to one company and the track work belongs to another, the project has a seam in it, and that seam is where the schedule fails. The grade is not ready when the track crew mobilizes. Drainage was cut to fit somebody else’s budget and now the subgrade will not hold. Two companies explain, at length, why the delay belongs to the other one.
We self perform both. The grading, the drainage and the track are one schedule with one point of contact, which is the single most reliable way to protect an in service date.

Tie installation, ballast and surfacing
Subgrade, drainage and site preparation
Track removal, relocation and salvage
Process
How a project runs
We start with the site and the in service date, in that order. A site walk tells us what the ground, the drainage and the access will allow, and the date tells us what sequence and crew size the schedule actually requires. You get a written scope, a schedule and a straight answer about whether the date you have in mind is realistic. If it is not, better to hear that in the proposal than in month three.
During construction you get progress updates and a photo record. At completion you get the walk, the punch list and the documentation your file and your insurer need.

FAQ
Frequently asked
Do you help with design?
We work with your engineer, or we can bring one in, and we give practical constructability input early, which is where most money is saved.
Do you build inside operating plants?
Regularly, and we schedule around production rather than the other way around.
How far will you travel?
Across Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama as standard, and further for the right project.
Send the site and the target in service date.
We will tell you what is realistic.
